Khasab is a port city on Oman’s Musandam Peninsula in northern Oman. Our city tour takes us to Khasab’s old and modern souks, as well as the Khasab Fort, also known as the Khasab Castle. The primary attraction of the city is the Khasab fort, which was built by the Portuguese in the early 17th century. This is in contrast to many forts, which were constructed on high terrain for defensive purposes.
The crenelated stone towers of Khasab Fort, model wooden boats, and a museum with handicrafts and archaeological findings are all highlights. Toward the end of our journey, you will reach Wadi Qadah and the historic town of Tawi, where you will witness traditional stone buildings and ancient rock carvings of camels, ships, and warriors that are claimed to be over 2000 years old.
